Sylvester Stallone started his career during post-war in New York. He was in film industry from four decades and was inflexible to become actor and struggled for four years and then after he got a big break in Lord of Flatbush by Henry Winkler. In the year 1975 he started including his ideas in scripts.In 1976, Sylvester wrote a script for rocky film which was written and performed by him. This was a hike of his career.The film Rocky got nominated for writing and acting for that year except that Rocky film won 3 academic awards including best picture.

Other than Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles, Sylvester became the third person to get nominated for writing and acting ever in film. He tried much more creativity after success of Rocky in F.I.S.T. and Paradise Alley in 1978 and worked for a sequel of Rocky i.e. Rocky II.

In 1978, Rocky II was directed, acted and written by him. After that he starred in Nighthawks and Victory in next two years and release Rocky III. With Rocky III he was co-writer in First Blood. By these two films Stallone earn 261 million dollars, 70 million dollar from First Blood and 191 from Rocky III. His success continued till 1990s along with Rocky V.

After 90s, fifth part of Rocky series crashed including Cliffhanger and other films. He was awarded as a worst actor for the Razzie of century, nominated 30 times and 10 times awarded. Every one knows Sylvester Stallone by Rocky character.
