Many critics had made the mistake of writing off Brad Pitt as a “pretty boy”, who couldn’t act, but all that changed after The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. In fact, he was beginning to be recognized as an actor after movies like Seven and Fight Club. Today, he is known as a well-established actor, and not just because he’s shacking up with Angelina Jolie! Apart from his to-die-for body, and his killer-smile, he’s also a really great actor, and here, we list his top ten best movies.

• Burn After Reading – Pitt played his character to perfection, his lines were good, overall a pretty funny performance, but that’s not to say it was bad.

• Ocean’s Thirteen – A very quirky character. Plus, he looked hot. He was well able to hold his own against the likes of George Clooney and Matt Damon.

• Snatch – A hard role to play, but he carried it off very well. Definitely a movie everyone should watch.

• Babel– One of the best we’ve seen. Definitely a movie to get hold of.

• Interview With A Vampire – Brad Pitt got into the character of a vampire extremely convincingly. His cold-blooded and calm narration was just the best.

• Legends Of The Fall – Brad Pitt as Tristan is overburdened with guilt. His performance was deep and really enigmatic.

• Fight Club – Definitely one of the best. Excellent performance by Pitt, he plays Norton’s alter ego to perfection, and actually – Norton and Pitt complement each other really well. Watch out for some great fighting, some great dialogue-delivery, and the ending will literally blow your mind.

• Se7en – One of his best performances. The emotion shines through in the last scenes, and even in the rest of the movie, he does a great job of playing the impatient detective. His acting is quite good alongside Morgan Freeman.

• Twelve Monkeys – Pitt is really great in the role of a mentally ill person. He injects humor into the role, and he steals the show from Bruce Willis, in many ways. In fact, his maniacal performance got him an Oscar nomination.

• The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button – Brad Pitt does a very convincing job of playing a man who is aging backwards, and trying to deal with his life. Although the movie itself is slightly slow, Pitt got an Oscar nod, and it was well deserved.
